History: When Claudine was 8 years old, her parents died in a car accident, leaving her orphaned with her older sister, Cresseida. Now the two of them live together in a small, run-down apartment. Cress does her best to provide for both of them, with limited success. Because her sister's always working, Claudine is often left at home by herself, with only Seki for company.
